Sport Clips Haircuts of Orlando - Lake Nona

This is a great spot for a haircut not too far from the airport. I highly recommend checking in online before arriving. At one point when I checked it was a 90 minute wait. By the time I was ready to check in it was down to 40 minutes. I arrived right and my specified time and didn't have to wait at all. My stylist did a phenomenal job and had great attention to detail. I opted for the MVP which includes a hot towel, shampoo and shoulder massage. Definitely recommend getting a haircut here!

I've been coming to this location for about 6 months now, since I moved to the neighborhood. I tried a couple other locations over the years and found that the cut was always just average. Then I had the good fortune of meeting Merissa. I've been hugely impressed by her skills. She's now cut my hair 4 times I believe and she's been consistent and excellent. My hair is important to me because I have a job which I routinely meet new people and often times speak with large groups. I have to look the part. The quality of cut and the friendly personality is what keeps me coming back.

Every time I come here brand new stylists. Just showed up at 1:30pm on a Tuesday and there is two hour wait with only one stylist available with one person waiting in the waiting room. I advise you to go somewhere else.

I'm not the type of person to leave a negative review. As someone who's worked retail, I understand that customers can be incredibly challenging to deal with and I always try to give workers the benefit of the doubt. This was my first time at this specific Sport Clips location but have had pleasant experiences at other locations, and went to this one expecting something similar. Today has been very busy for me but I was relieved to see that this specific location closed at 8 rather than 7, which is standard for other Sport Clips. I checked in on the app around 7:20, but didn't get to the salon until about 7:50 because of traffic (I live about 25 minutes away and this happens to be the closest location.) Cutting it pretty close I know, but I was apologetic and assumed that I would still be able to get a cut since I made it before the door was locked. The stylist who greeted me seemed pretty irritated that I walked in the door at all. I said that I had checked in online a bit earlier, and apologized for being late. The stylist reminded me that they closed in 5 minutes to which I responded, "I know, I'm really sorry. Is it still possible to get a hair cut?" The stylist said "Oh yeah, of course" in the most sarcastic, fake sweet, trying-not-to-rip-my-head-off way imaginable which made me feel infinitely more guilty for showing up at all. At this point, I was just deflated and suggested coming back tomorrow if it was too much of a hassle tonight. "Yeah just come back tomorrow" was the response, with the same sarcastic, belittling tone. I understand it's likely been a long day for her, and having a customer come in 5 minutes before close is never fun. But she did not apologize for the inconvenience (even though I had apologized for inconveniencing her,) seemed incredibly insincere, and looked like she wanted to kill me. I'm not in the business of naming and shaming, and I won't be doing so here. But I'm very disappointed in her response to the situation. I would've been more understanding if she had said "I'm really sorry, it's just that we're about to close and we've already cleaned up, I don't think we'd be able to get to you today. If you'd like you can always come back tomorrow." The whole situation made me feel like a bad person just for going in and trying to get a haircut. I'm 23, I can handle being told "No." But this felt like genuine disdain masked as helpfulness. I can't speak to the quality of haircuts here, but today's interaction made me never want to go back to this location and put a bad taste in my mouth for Sport Clips in general. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

A great experience. Katie took good care of me. I got a coupon for a FREE haircut through Groupon. You can't beat it. Groupon was for a free haircut and I have her a $5.00 tip and so it was a $5.00 haircut. So you can't complain. I am not a real particular guy when it comes to hair so unless I got hacked up badly...I would be fine with what was done. Normal cut is $16. An MVP cut is $25. Certainly don't need all the extra frilly. If you are a dude and need a haircut...check it out. Especially if you can get a free cut!

I love this place! The stylists are all so nice! This is my go to spot. I've had two different stylists and each time they both very good way better than anywhere else around

I've been to this location a couple times to get my haircut. They have several different options that you can choose from are usually go for the MVP so I get my shampoo done.

They MVP comes with the haircut shampoo conditioner and a hot towel and then a nice little massage on the way out the door. I've had my haircut by three different people there and I've been pleased each time. Just a tip you can go online and get your place in line to limit your wait

Jess and Liz are awesome!! Great atmosphere. Online check is great for no wait. I always get the MVP hot face towel and shoulder massage.

Ask for Brittanie. She'll take the time to listen to you and work on your hair. She cut it for the last year for me on a monthly basis and was always consistent.

I've been to this location roughly 6 or more times and at first it was great, I had young stylists who took their time and did a great job but ever since then it's been a nightmare. I've had some awful haircuts, uneven beard trims and " MVP " packages that were rushed and cut short. I've visited for the last time unfortunately because it was always so easy.
