Sport Clips Haircuts announces $25,000 donation to help children of DFW military

GEORGETOWN, Texas (Apr. 25, 2016)

Sport Clips Haircuts, the nation’s leading hair care franchise dedicated to men and boys, is donating $25,000 to help children of military men and women in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex through the Gratitude Initiative. The announcement comes during the Month of the Military Child and will support the enrollment of DFW-area military children in college preparatory and tutoring programs.

Sport Clips Haircuts founder and executives join others to “Shave the Day” in support of St. Baldrick’s Foundation

SAN ANTONIO (Apr. 5, 2016)

Razors buzzed to life at the Sport Clips Haircuts National Huddle as more than 130 “Shave the Day” volunteers went bald and raised more than $110,000 in support of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation’s work in fighting childhood cancer. Sport Clips is St. Baldrick’s first national sponsor, and the franchise kicked off the partnership with an attempt to raise $50,000 and best a St. Baldrick’s record for number of heads shaved at the same time. Even Sport Clips Founder and CEO Gordon Logan, President Mark Kartarik, and Vice President of Operations Gordon Edward Logan got into the game, having their heads shaved and collectively raising more than $25,000, as part of the total, for the cause.

St. Baldrick's Foundation and Sport Clips Haircuts Partner to Support Childhood Cancer Research

National hair care franchise commits to donating $1 million to the St. Baldrick's Foundation over next three years

LOS ANGELES (Jan. 27, 2016)

The St. Baldrick's Foundation, the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants, is proud to announce a new partnership with Sport Clips Haircuts, a national hair care franchise with almost 1,500 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Expanding upon the support of many of its locations, Sport Clips has signed on as a St. Baldrick's national partner, generously committing to donate $1 million over the next three years to support the most promising childhood cancer research.

VFW Announces Landmark Semester for VFW’s "Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship"

Program names 133 student veteran recipients

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Jan. 19, 2016)

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) is pleased to announce 133 service members and veterans have been named recipients of the VFW’s “Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship,” making the 2016 spring semester the highest award period since the program’s inception in 2013. These student veterans will receive over $563,500 in combined aid.
