Sport Clips Haircuts is a franchise system, which means stores are independently owned and operated by local business owners, or franchisees.
Because each location is independently owned and operated, each store sets their own hours. Most are open seven days a week. In addition, hours and open days may change for holidays. We recommend using our store locator to find the store you want to visit to verify their store hours.
You can use our store locator and search by city, state or zip code to find the stores in your neighborhood. You can also click the Check In Online button at the top right of this page or download the Sport Clips app. The app is available for both iOS and Android by searching Sport Clips Haircuts.

Because stores are independently owned and operated, we recommend contacting the store you visited and asking for the Manager or owner. You can also reach the Sport Clips Support Center via the Contact Us form on the website.
We recommend asking your Stylist any questions you have about a specific product. Most Sport Clips locations carry products such as American Crew, Paul Mitchell, Gibs Grooming, Sexy Hair, and Actiiv.

While a traditional barber shop offers haircuts and shaving, Sport Clips offers a full men’s haircut experience with extras like a hot towel treatment, a massaging shampoo, and neck & beard trimming, but Sport Clips does not offer shaving.
All Sport Clips stylists are state-licensed professionals trained in men’s haircuts and grooming.
Most Sport Clips locations have free onsite parking, but you can reach out to your local store to confirm before your visit.
Whether you tip your Sport Clips stylist is up to you, but it is generally considered a kind gesture and great way to show your appreciation for a job well done. Five to ten dollars is considered an average tip, though more might be appropriate for more complicated cuts.
Sport Clips offers customers the ability to check into a waiting list before they get to the Sport Clips store. That is not an appointment, and line-ups can sometimes change just like any other type of business that you check into (e.g. people cancel, haircuts run long, etc.). We do our best to get every customer on our waiting list into our cutting chairs as efficiently as possible without sacrificing on quality.
Online Check In is the Sport Clips web and app-based system that allows Clients to check in for a haircut online and track your real-time wait time so you can know exactly where you stand.
Online Check in is all about convenience. You can check wait times, discover stores based on distance and wait times, select your favorite Stylist, receive check in reminders, view the wait board live after check in and opt in for special promotions.
The Sport Clips app is available on both the iOS and Android app stores. You can also access check in on the web via the Check In Online button at the top right of this page.
First, you'll want to search for your location and tap the red pin marker of the store you want to visit. Next, you'll hit the red check in button and choose your Stylist. You can choose the first available Stylist or choose a specific Stylist from the list.
An account is required so your online check in can be linked to your physical visit when you arrive at the store. This allows the Stylist to mark you as arrived in the system and mark you as "on deck" for your haircut.
Online Check In is available five minutes after the store is open and ends roughly 30 minutes before the store closes. The 30-minute window at closing is an estimate because wait times are based on our Stylist's average service time, so it's important to check the wait time of the store you want to visit and compare it to the store's closing time.
Upon arrival, you'll see your name on the waitlist, but make sure you sign in at the self-service kiosk to confirm you have arrived. You can also speak to a Stylist who can assist and confirm your arrival.
After confirming your check in, you'll be taken to the lineup screen displaying your estimated arrival time. You can cancel from this screen.
You can request multiple haircuts via check in so there is no need to create an account for your children or other minor family members you plan to bring with you. Once you log in, you can add a guest to your visit and you will receive estimated wait times for each person. You can also check in one or more guests/family members even if you don't want services for yourself.
After you Join the Lineup, you can select your preferred Stylist or pick the first available Stylist.
Favorites can be saved within the app by clicking the heart icon next to a Stylist or location name. This feature is not available on the web option.
Go to the account page and then select service history to see your previous activity.
While you can choose your favorite stylist in the Sport Clips online check-in app, you cannot currently view who your previous stylist was on a previous visit.
Sport Clips Haircuts is a franchise system, which means stores are independently owned and operated, therefore pricing is set at the store level and can vary from location to location. Typically, a standard Varsity haircut falls within the $25-30 range, and the MVP Haircut Experience can be an additional $3-7.
Absolutely! We cut children's hair (boys and girls) and offer the Junior Varsity haircut for children. Check your local store for age requirements.
Yes! While we specialize in cuts for men and boys, we can and do cut women's hair. Please note, we do not provide any color or chemical treatments, just basic wash and cut.
Our Stylists are trained to cut hair of all different kinds of types and textures in a variety of styles.
We do offer beard sculpting and trims with scissors, clippers, and foil shavers. Our stores do not provide open blade/straight blade trims or shaves.
While we can provide beard trimming/sculpting services, we do not offer beard shaves.
Haircuts typically take around 20-30 minutes but can vary depending on the type of cut and service provided.
You can use the Sport Clips mobile app, select your favorite store, and then verify if your Stylist is working. The app is available for both iOS and Android.
If you are unhappy with your haircut or any services you are provided at Sport Clips, we encourage you to talk to your Stylist and/or the Manager of the location. You can also provide your feedback via the customer satisfaction surveys that are sent to Clients. If you feel your issue needs to be addressed further, you can submit to the Contact Us form on our website.
Sport Clips does not take appointments; however, we do encourage Clients to use Online Check In which allows you to choose your store, choose your Stylist and skip the line and arrive at the store based on the estimated service time. Online Check In is available via the Check In Online box at the top right of this page or via the iOS and Android mobile apps.
Yes, Sport Clips welcomes walk-ins. Be sure to check in at the kiosk upon arrival at the store.
Sport Clips is a proud supporter of our country's veterans and the Official Haircutter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). We encourage all stores to provide free haircuts on Veterans Day, but we do recommend verifying with the store. You can use our store locator to contact the store about their free haircuts for veterans policy.

Sport Clips stylists are trained to cut hair of all types, textures, and lengths, including fades, beard trims, and classic men’s haircuts.
Sport Clips stylists specialize in men’s and boys’ haircuts, including fades, tapers, crew cuts, pompadours, faux-hawks, mullets, textured crops, beard trims, and clean‑ups.
Sport Clips does offer neck trims as a service and we even offer complementary neck trims in-between haircuts.
It depends on the coupon. There are certain coupons that can be redeemed at any location across the country, but there are others that are issued by individual stores or markets and can only be redeemed at the locations or market named on the coupon. Please review the disclaimer language on the coupon.
Season Tickets can only be used at the location where they are purchased. They are not transferable between stores.
First-time Clients automatically receive a free MVP upgrade on their first visit. The Varsity Haircut is upgraded to an MVP Experience at no additional charge and includes our legendary hot steamed towel, massaging shampoo and a relaxing neck and shoulder treatment. Please note: Neck & shoulder treatment is not available in New York, Oregon or Washington.
We do not have a national gift certificate program, so gift certificates are only available at select locations.
