The “Happiest Employees” recognition was based on factors that contribute to happiness at work, such as positive environment, fair pay, benefits, excitement about work and coworkers, company pride, and more.

This set of Comparably Awards is based on sentiment feedback provided by current employees who anonymously rated their employers on Comparably.com during a 12-month look-back period (August 24, 2025 through August 24, 2026). Employees had the opportunity to answer structured questions on different workplace topics including investment in company goals and company pride; excitement about work and co-workers; and work environment. Each answer is given a numerical score and compared to companies of similar size. The final data set was compiled from over 20 million ratings across 70,000 companies.
