From the Cockpit:

Carl Edwards: “I’m excited about the opportunity to drive the No. 19 Sport Clips Toyota Camry at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend. Joe Gibbs Racing as an organization has had great success at New Hampshire. With Sport Clips on the car this weekend, all of those folks have been great to work with and I actually need a haircut, so hopefully one of the stylists will be at the track. The performance at Kentucky was amazing and I had so much fun racing last week and I can’t wait to get back in the car and have another go at it. Having heard Denny (Hamlin) briefly talk about New Hampshire and I can see the excitement in his eyes and that gets me excited to go there. It’s always fun to go to a track where the whole team has a lot of confidence. This is a chance for us to prepare for the Chase race at New Hampshire, so this gives us something to work towards and gives us a good goal mentally to not only perform well, but learn all we can for the next time we are there when it will count toward the Championship.”
