From the Driver’s Seat:
Erik Jones: “Texas is a good place and I’ve always been a pretty big fan of the race track and the area. I always look forward to getting back there. We’ve had a lot of success at Texas in Truck and Xfinity, and in Cup as well we’ve ran really well. Hopefully we can have a good rebound from Martinsville and chase down a win. It would be nice to close out our year with one or two more wins here.”
From the Pit Box:
Chris Gayle: “Can’t wait to get back to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. It’s a place that Erik runs really well and we had a good top-five finish in the spring race after starting further back than we expected. I feel really good about our chances to improve on that finish and contend for a win this weekend.”
