Sport Clips Haircuts has been selected as one of the Austin American-Statesman’s “Top Workplaces.” Based solely on feedback from employees of the company’s support center, located in Georgetown, Texas, and store managers and stylists in the greater Austin area, Sport Clips Haircuts ranked seventh among mid-sized employers and was designated a “special award winner” for the training category. “As Sport Clips continues to grow, we maintain a continued focus on putting clients first while enhancing the lives of our team through our workplace culture,” says Founder and CEO Gordon Logan. “We truly value our employees’ insight and feedback, and it’s thanks to their dedication and loyalty that we’ve been highlighted as a ‘Top Workplace’ in Austin.”
On behalf of the Austin American-Statesman, WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a research firm on organizational health and employee engagement, conducted the fifth annual “Top Workplaces” survey. The survey was designed to recognize local employers in Greater Austin that stand for the best in leadership, vision, and an employee-centered culture, among other qualities.
Last year, more than 22,000 anonymous surveys were collected from 143 Austin-area employers, grouped into three categories based on the number of employees to compile the survey data. WorkplaceDynamics analyzed the results and came up with the list of the top 85 Austin-area employers.
