Sports-themed hair care franchise ranks among top 40
GEORGETOWN, Texas (Jan. 14, 2015)
Sport Clips Haircuts, the nation’s leading men’s and boys’ hair care provider, continues its climb in the annual “Franchise 500” rankings. Sport Clips has risen to 36th in the 2015 Entrepreneur report, up from 38th last year. Entrepreneur bases the ranking on franchises’ financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system.
“Growing by close to 200 stores a year and increasing retail sales annually makes Sport Clips a really interesting franchise opportunity and ever-growing haircare option of choice,” says Founder and CEO Gordon Logan. “We’ve been very intentional in the past 20-plus years to create Sport Clips as a business that works in communities everywhere. When franchisees open a Sport Clips store, they become a vital part of the local retail scene, providing jobs and contributing to philanthropies. It’s our team members that really make Sport Clips a winner in the rankings and in the areas they serve.”
Sport Clips recently announced the opening of its 1,300th stores, a three-way tie among stores that opened the same day along the East Coast. The company is a leader in the hair franchise and beauty salon franchise industries and will soon open in its 50th state in the U.S. Sport Clips is known for its support of the military through its annual Help A Hero scholarships for veterans outreach and is an active part of the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program.
