Sport Clips Haircuts Names Scott Perry CFO and Dan Miller CIO

GEORGETOWN, Texas (Jan. 7, 2015)

Scott J. Perry has been promoted to chief financial officer and treasurer, and Dan Miller named chief information officer of Sport Clips Haircuts, the nation’s leading franchise dedicated to men’s and boys’ hair care.

Perry most recently served as Sport Clips’ vice president of finance and treasurer, building teams and infrastructure through the company’s growth from 390 stores to more than 1,300. During his time at Sport Clips, Perry has overseen multiple departments including legal, finance, accounting, information technology, and human resources.

Prior to joining Sport Clips, Perry served as the vice president of finance of Britestream Networks, senior director of finance and operations for AIM Technologies, Inc. and as a senior audit manager in the Austin, Texas and San Jose, Calif. offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Miller comes to Sport Clips from another service-based franchise, Massage Envy SPA, where he served as chief information officer for six years. With more than a decade of experience in the information technology sector and 10 years within franchising, Miller has held positions with companies, including TMP International in Tempe, Ariz. and Realty Executives International in Phoenix, as well as served as a recent contributor to FORBES and on the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Technology Committee.

Miller graduated from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in Health and Business Administration. He received a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University and is also a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
