Sport Clips Haircuts scores as a top 15 “smartest-growing” brand in Franchise Times’ “Fast and Serious” ranking

GEORGETOWN, Texas (Mar. 5, 2015)

Sport Clips Haircuts, the nation’s leading franchise dedicated to men’s and boys’ hair care, is number 13 of 40 in the just-released Franchise Times “Fast and Serious” ranking of the “smartest-growing brands.”

The trade media outlet utilizes a 10-point formula for identifying fast-growing franchise systems that also have “staying power.” The proprietary formula takes into consideration percentage sales, dollar sales and numerical unit growth over the past three years, with more weight given to acceleration in years two and three. Database for the ranking is the Franchise Times “Top 200 plus 300” of the largest franchise systems by revenue.

In the report, Sport Clips’ Founder and CEO Gordon Logan notes one of the company’s reasons for growth is that, “We will not compromise” on the quality of franchisees nor the real estate locations selected. The article also cites Sport Clips’ 2013 unit growth “above 38 percent” and the company’s marketing efforts through NASCAR and military veterans’ sponsorships.

Sport Clips has more than 1,300 locations across the country and serves its clients on a walk-in basis. For more information, visit a Sport Clips location or SportClips.com.
