Sport Clips Haircuts, the nation's leading haircare provider dedicated to men and boys, has awarded scholarships to nine outstanding cosmetology students across the country. Sport Clips' Access to Cosmetology Education (ACE) Scholarship Program was created to provide financial support to deserving students enrolled in American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS). The goal of the program is to help students gain skills, training and education to begin a successful career in the continually-growing field of cosmetology.
Sport Clips has almost 1,800 stores with a presence in all 50 U.S. states and Canada and offers these $1,000 scholarships to eligible students who qualify based on academic and essay requirements. Since 2012, Sport Clips has awarded more than $66,000 in scholarship money to promote quality cosmetology education.
“Opportunities for success in the cosmetology industry are limitless, and Sport Clips is proud to be a part of championing successful careers in the field,” says Julie Vargas, senior director of career opportunities for Sport Clips Haircuts. “High-quality education is the starting point for lifelong work in this field that provides for so many individuals and families.
