Entrepreneur Top Franchises for Veterans logoIndependent franchisee satisfaction research firm, Franchise Business Review, has identified Sport Clips Haircuts as one of just 80 franchises to qualify for its 2019 Top Franchises for Veterans list. Additionally, respected media enterprise Entrepreneur has named Sport Clips in the top 25 of its just-released 2019 Top Franchises for Veterans.

“Honoring and thanking veterans is an important part of the work we do at Sport Clips to provide franchise opportunities and offer preferential pricing to those who have served in the military," says Gordon Logan, an Air Force veteran and founder/CEO of Sport Clips. "So these rankings are a real honor and a testament to Sport Clips' commitment to U.S. service members and veterans. They also highlight the work we do to honor veterans and assist in their transition from military to civilian careers: our Help A Hero Scholarship program administered in partnership with the VFW Foundation, Honor Flights, Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation, USO and many others."

Franchise Business Review, a market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only ranking of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. The firm analyzed 18 months of data from more than 26,000 veteran franchise owners representing over 250 brands regarding their overall satisfaction with their brands and their likelihood to recommend them to others. Sport Clips franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training & support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity.

According to its website, Entrepreneur invited hundreds of franchises that offer some sort of incentive for veterans joining their system to participate in a survey designed to learn more about their veterans programs. From there, Entrepreneur developed its ranking of the top 150 franchises for veterans, taking into account each company's veteran incentive, how veteran franchisees are attracted to and supported by the company, and how each company scored in the 2019 Franchise 500.

This is the sixth year Sport Clips has ranked as a top franchise for veterans by Franchise Business Review and seventh year to be recognized by Entrepreneur.

Sport Clips is the official haircutter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and partners with the organization to administer its Help A Hero scholarships for veterans program. Help A Hero is the franchise’s signature philanthropy and just one of many ways the company supports active-duty military and veterans.
