Sport Clips Haircuts, the nation's leading hair care provider for men and boys, ranked 27 out of 100 as a “Best Company for Women”. The rankings are awarded by Comparably, a leading workplace culture and corporate brand reputation platform, based on anonymous employee feedback from only female employees.
“As a company with a predominately female workforce, this recognition is especially meaningful,” says Julie Vargas, vice president of career opportunities & talent engagement. “We know how important it is to care for our team members as individuals and we offer several unique programs that provide support at both a personal and professional level. Sport Clips understands the passion and creativity our team members bring to work every day, and we are proud to have created a positive work environment.”
This set of Comparably Awards is based on feedback from female employees, with questions spanning nearly 20 core culture metrics, from compensation (salary, bonus, raises) and career growth (opportunities, mentorship, goals) to leadership (CEO, executives, direct managers) and work environment (work-life balance, perks & benefits, coworkers). Awards are based on feedback collected during a 12-month look-back period (February 10, 2024 through February 10, 2025). To qualify, Large companies (more than 500 employees) must have met a minimum of 75 employee participants and SMB companies (up to 500 employees) must have a minimum of 35 employee participants. For statistical significance, additional weight was given to companies with more participation from their employee base, relative to company size.
